SALLERAS, Elvira (LLB, BL, LLM, ACTI)

Principal Partner

Elvira Salleras is the founder and managing partner of Elvira Salleras & Associates. She was called to the Nigerian bar in 1989 and focuses her practice mainly in the areas of investment, company and labour laws. She is experienced in mergers and acquisitions, international joint ventures, contract negotiation, debt recovery and real estate brokerage. She is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.

Mrs. Salleras is the legal adviser to the Consulates General of Italy and France. She represents several foreign and local clients in diverse matters touching on various aspects of the law including, joint ventures, technology transfer and distribution and representative agreements. She is also particularly involved in establishing legal structures and providing legal advice on establishment and regulatory compliance for multinational companies operating in various sectors of the Nigerian economy. Mrs. Salleras is regularly involved in speaking engagements on doing business in Nigeria, both locally and abroad.

ATAKPU, Victor (LLB, BL, LLM, CIArb)

Mr. Atakpu is a barrister and solicitor with 15 years post-call experience and currently heads of our Benin office. He holds a masters’ degree, majoring in Oil and Gas Law, from the University of Benin and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Mr. Atakpu is a seasoned commercial lawyer representing several companies across various sectors of the economy. He regularly advises oil and gas companies on regulatory compliance matters and conducts due diligence for private companies and foreign missions.

AJIBO, Eze Godfrey (LLB, BL)

Main Practice Areas: Commercial Litigation and Due Diligence

Eze is a seasoned litigator and has represented the firm in several cases involving various legal categories. He serves currently as the Head of the Litigation department.

In almost a decade, he has been actively involved in corporate and commercial law and provides legal and tax advice to local and multinational companies and other organizations on various aspects of Nigerian law and practice relevant to their operations, including investment law, taxation, regulatory compliance and company law and practice. He has participated in providing Company secretarial duties to local companies under retainer with the firm as well as providing legal advice on the establishment and regulatory compliance of several companies operating in the oil and gas sector.

OGUNTUASE, Ireoluwa Femi (LLB, BL, AISM)

Senior Associate

Ireoluwa is a highly resourceful legal practitioner with core interest in litigation and Dispute Resolution. He is also a lecturer with Barbados Solutions, an outsourcing firm.

His practice areas are litigation, corporate & Commercial Law, Family Law and Employment and Labour Matters.

He has over 10 years post call experience with professional Affiliations in Nigerian Bar Association, Associate Institute of Strategic Management.

ADESINA, Adewunmi (LL.B, B.L, GCIS)

Senior Associate

Adewunmi is a Senior Associate in Elvira Salleras & Associates.

A natural leader, Adewunmi is driven to achieve excellence in all her endeavours. She has a keen interest in corporate and commercial law and is a great team player. Adewunmi’s resilience in the face of challenges sets her apart as an exceptional asset to the firm.

Her practice areas include Corporate & Commercial Law, Immigration Law, Tax Advisory and Regulatory Compliance.

She has over 6 years post call experience and has professional affiliations with the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), the Section on Business Law of the NBA and the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria.

She is currently pursuing her LLM from the University of South Wales.

EZENYIRIOHA, Uchechi (LLB, BL, LLM (Hertfordshire UK))

Associate

Uchechi is a key Associate in the firm’s Corporate Commercial practice with a key focus on Regulatory compliance, Intellectual Property rights, Startup businesses, Contracts, Labour and Employment matters and general legal advisory services. She has worked with several local and international clients on Fintech, Telecommunications, Oil and Gas, Employment law and Immigrations.

In addition to her corporate commercial law experience she is very keen on Family law and children’s rights in Nigeria. She regularly works closely with The LIFE Foundation, Lagos and acts for the Foundation on legal and regulatory matters with particular emphasis on Local and Inter-country adoptions.
She volunteers at Sickle cell Advocacy and Management (SAMI) Initiative, SOZO Life International and Tribeswomen.

OGUNMOKUN Temitayo (LLB, BL)

Associate

Temitayo is a skilled and dynamic lawyer with practice interests in corporate commercial, family law and dispute resolution. Temitayo interned briefly with the firm in 2015 and subsequently served out his National Youth Service year as an NYSC Associate in 2016. Due to his problem solving abilities and diligence, Temitayo was retained and made an Associate. He currently leads one of four brief implementation teams in the firm. Temitayo has acquired practical expertise in family law practice (particularly cross country and domestic adoptions, matrimonial causes, guardianships and custody proceedings), dispute resolution, regulatory compliance, tax advisory and corporate commercial implementation. His work has taking him to business cities in West Africa and Europe for client representation on behalf of the firm. He is also a passionate researcher, writer and poet and acts as a volunteer legal adviser to the Literacy Integration and Formal Education (LIFE) Foundation, a nonprofit body committed to the total eradication of illiteracy in sub Saharan Africa.

His Practice Areas are Corporate & Commercial Law, Family Law, Dispute Resolution and Tax Advisory.

Adachukwu is a result-oriented, ambitious and focused Lawyer. She is able to work effectively as part of any team. She has strong leadership, interpersonal, analytical and communications skills. Her persistence and adaptability make her an outstanding member of the firm. Administrative Manager

Mrs Ojo came on board of ES & A as a Secretary pioneer staff, first as the Personal Assistant to the Managing Partner and now as the Administrative Manager.

She gives a robust support to the legal team of ES&A and to our clients, vendors and contractors to ensure that we meet the firms set goals and aspirations.

JITUBOH, Edith (B.A English AAU)

Human Resource Manager

Edith Jituboh has her first degree in English (B.A English) from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma and a Masters’ degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Calabar. She has over 18 years’ experience in Administration and several years in Human Resource Management, in areas of Recruitment, Administrative Management, Change Management, Human Resource Strategy and HR Operations. She is well versed in the day-to-day operations of HR and is a valued resource for issues relating to staff relations, policy development, performance management. In addition, she has also acquired several years of experience in investigation and due diligence in the work place.

She is presently processing her Associate Membership (ACIPM) with the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management.

Esther Eze is an Administrative staff of ES&A.
She has been with the firm for 12 years.

Esther is very hard working, supervises the Janitorial work , manages the Library , and also work in the paralegal department.

OBIJIAKU, Chinwe Lisa (BA)

LOGISTICS AND DOCUMENTATION OFFICER

Chinwe is responsible for the Legal administrative function of ES&A. She possesses a high level of organisational skill and competence in office management. Chinwe has 5years experience in logistics and documentation. She is currently undergoing training on Amadeus reservation and ticketing web certification.

She was the 2016 overall national winner of Time assessment management system (TAMS) She has successfully completed a course on Emotional intelligence. She is the first contact staff at ES&A office. Chinwe is warm and friendly.

SAKA, Ibrahim Kolawole

Corporate Social Responsibility Officer

Ibrahim is responsible for the development and delivery of The Firm’s Corporate Social Responsibility strategy and programs. He is skilled in strategic planning, community development and volunteers’ coordination. Ibrahim has 3 years’ experience in project management, monitoring and evaluation. He holds certifications in Non-profit Leadership and Management from Lagos Business School, Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation.

He is a volunteer Project Coordinator at LIFE Foundation and member of YALI, YouthLead, ONE and other Youth Leadership Networks. Ibrahim loves writing and bantering Manchester United rivals in his spare time.
